Multiplay

How many of your characters may be logged on at once is a server-wide
setting, decided per season (ask an immortal, or just try - the game will
tell you if you are at the limit). Immortal (staff) characters never
count against the limit.

Playing a single character earns noticeably faster: a solo vitality
bonus adds 40% to both passive regeneration and experience gained. It is
halved while two of your mortals are in play and gone at three, so the
bonus follows one curve across both. Staff characters parked online do
not cost you this bonus, and neither does a character left linkdead.

The bonus is counted from what is in play right now, so it moves the
moment another of your characters enters or leaves the world - including
one asleep at an inn. Your current experience modifiers, this bonus
among them, are listed by the `remort' command.

You are still asked to please not use characters purely for storage or
muling and to not share characters.

The web client (isharmud.com/connect) supports multiplay directly: open
extra sessions from the topbar, send commands across characters with
@@<name>, and mirror your typing to several at once - see its /help.
